School shooting shakes Kentucky

One student was killed and seven others were left wounded after a gunman opened fire inside the Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky.

The suspect is currently in custody, according to the states Governor, Matt Bevin. The FBI and ATF agents are on scene to help with the investigation. The motive is still unknown at this time.

Update: Two students are confirmed dead from the Kentucky school shooting after an unidentified 15 year old student entered the Marshall County High School and opened fire with a handgun. Fourteen students have been wounded, of those 9 were shot and 5 suffered non-gunshot related injuries.

Kentucky governor Matt Bevin said in a statement that the shooter will be charged with murder and attempted murder, and to “Please do not speculate or spread hearsay… Let’s let the first responders do their job and be grateful that they are there to do it for us.”
